Overview

This guide provides a high-level overview of how to get started with Duckie. You can find more detailed information about each step in the rest of the documentation.

Accessing Duckie

To get access to Duckie, you can do one of the following:

  1. Fill out this Google Form to request access.
  2. Contact the Duckie team at founders@duckie.ai.
  3. Schedule a call with one of our founders here.

Once you have access to Duckie, you can log into the web app at app.duckie.ai, where you can configure your integrations and knowledge sources.

Setting up

Duckie’s AI support helpers can be set up to respond wherever your team works: Slack, Zendesk, Discord, Teams, and more.

To connect Duckie to your workspace, you will need to follow the setup instructions for the platform you want Duckie to work in.

The setup process works like this:

Step 1: Connect your workspace

On the integrations page, click on the platform you want Duckie to work in, and follow the instructions to connect your workspace.

Step 2: Set up Duckie’s workspace connection

After connecting your workspace, follow the instructions to give Duckie access to the channels you want it to answer questions in. You can learn more about how to set up workspace access here.

Step 3: Configure AI Support Agent (optional)

You can set up a Duckie AI Support Agent to respond to customers in the channels you have configured. You can learn more about how to configure the AI Support Agent here.

Integrations

Integrations are how Duckie is able to connect to your workspace and access your data.

We support a wide range of integrations for the following knowledge types:

Customer Support Knowledge
  • Communication channels: Slack, Discord, Teams, etc.
  • Documentation: Confluence, Notion, Public Documentation, etc.
  • Support ticketing systems: Zendesk, Intercom, etc.
Engineering Knowledge
  • Code repositories: GitHub, etc.
  • Error tracking: Sentry, etc.
  • Issue trackers: Jira, Linear, etc.

Once you have set up your integrations and workspace connection, you can send your first message to Duckie!
